- All of our hotels are oriented towards environmental sustainability, using low-impact generators to reduce CO2 emissions and energy consumption, have energy-efficient LED lighting and high-efficiency heating/cooling systems.
- It is from the awareness that we are all responsible for the world we live in that the group has created the Starhotels E.c.ho. in Milan: the first hotel in the city entirely inspired by the principles of sustainable architecture and design.
- Starhotels has recently embarked on a "plastic free" journey, with the aim of removing single-use plastic products in favour of those made from 100% recycled and biodegradable materials.
- Thanks to this project, more than 2 million disposable plastic bottles containing shampoo, shower gel, soap and similar products have been replaced in Starhotels with dispensers made of recycled and recyclable materials, which contain high-quality ecological products, free of parabens and silicones and certified by Ecolabel and Ecocert.
- Eco-Friendly Events- At Starhotels it is possible, on request to:
- Offset CO2 emissions through the support of sustainable development projects
- Equip meeting rooms with eco-friendly materials
- Offer green menus for business lunches and coffee breaks
- In addition, all meeting rooms are equipped with high quality and low consumption LED lighting for further energy savings.
