We are ready for a shopping spree! Where? The Italian and international designer boutiques are all located in the area between piazza dei Martiri and Via Alabardieri: here you’ll find Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Salvatore Ferragamo, Prada.
As well as the elegant shopping streets via dei Mille, via Calabritto, via Filangieri and via Carlo Poerio.
Naples is also synonymous with tailor-made elegance. The shops that have made the history of Italian tailoring are all located on the above-mentioned streets: Cesare Attolini (via Filangieri, 15), Luigi Borrelli (via Filangieri, 68), Mariano Rubinacci, tucked inside Palazzo Cellamare in via Chiaia, Isaia (via Roma, 44), Eddy Monetti (via dei Mille, 45), Mario Muscariello (piazza Vanvitelli, 45), Sartoria Dalcuore (via Francesco Caracciolo, 17) and Marinella for ties.
Via Chiaia is the shopping destination for those in search of furniture and furnishing objects. Vico Belledonne, in particular, is lined with shops selling lamps.
Last but least, the many picturesque street markets offering food specialties, as well as homeware and clothing, such as Mercato di Porta Nolana, a must-see for fish lovers, and Mercatino di Antignano, one of Naples’s best-known and “classy” street markets.
