Our story begins in the province of Parma in the early twentieth century, when in the old inn with inn in the village of Collecchio, the Ceci family hosted customers and passersby in transit on the way to Fornovo and La Spezia. In the 60s the adventure begins in the nearby Villa Maria Luigia, the ancient residence of the Duchess of Parma. In just a few years, the Villa has established itself as a prestigious residence where it is possible to taste good traditional Emilian cuisine, so much so that in the 80s the Michelin star also arrived. In 1999 Villa Maria Luigia di Collecchio is recognized by the New York Times as one of the most prestigious restaurants in Emilia Romagna, and mentioned in the "Travel" section. Since 2015 we have transferred the management of the Restaurant inside the Starhotels du Parc in Parma and we propose our tradition in this new beautiful location keeping Villa Maria Luigia as a venue destined to host any type of event or reception.
