“I AM STAR” LOYALTY PROGRAM

I AM STAR is the new Starhotels Loyalty Program that reserves its members tailor-made services, unique experiences, exclusive benefits and reward nights in the most beautiful cities across the world.

RULES

VALIDITY

From May 6, 2015 to December 31st 2018

REGISTRATION

Access to the reserved area on www.starhotels.com (insert link) and become an I AM STAR member. Registration is simple and free, personal and non-transferable. The following personal data will be requested upon registration: name, surname, e-mail address, phone number, preferences (this field is reserved to room preferences like smoking/non-smoking, double/twin bedding, high/low floor etc.). The registration area online can be accessed at any time to modify/update personal data. Registering implies that the client has read and fully accepts the program’s rules and privacy policy. An e-mail including all the member’s personal credentials will be sent to the e-mail address indicated in the registration phase: user id and password (the password may be changed/personalized at any time). These personal codes enable the user to access to the reserved I AM STAR area on www.starhotels.com and to the services and benefits offered exclusively to I AM STAR members. No membership card will be issued or sent.
In the members area it is possible to:

  • manage the account: modify profile settings
  • access to special offers available exclusively to members of the I AM STAR program;
  • book extraordinary offers

The member’s personal numeric identification code corresponds to an account which will be credited with the accumulated points. The points are earned for each stay in Starhotels in Italy, Paris and London when booked exclusively through the reserved online area on www.starhotels.com

ENJOY THE BENEFITS

To enjoy all the benefits of the I AM STAR program, bookings must be made directly and exclusively through the dedicated area reserved to members on www.starhotels.com (benefits are not valid if booked through other channels). All the benefits specified apply exclusively to stays in Starhotels in Italy, Paris and London and New York (award points are excluded for stays at The Michelangelo in New York).
The program’s benefits cannot be accumulated with other discounts, initiatives or special offers by Starhotels and/or Starhotels partners.
All the program's benefits (discounts, points, special offers from the Partners) are personal and reserved exclusively to the I AM STAR member that is staying in the hotel.

Starhotels also reserves the right to offer members special initiatives and promotions of its partners*. By participating to such promotional initiatives, members will be able to receive a series of benefits in addition to those provided by the I AM STAR program. * This does not constitute an incentive to the sale of partners’ services.

POINTS

The points are based on the Starhotels’ credit system for the program. The member earns points for every night stay in Starhotels in Italy, Paris and London (award points are excluded for stays at The Michelangelo in New York). Points are given for stays booked with the dedicated I AM STAR rates and exclusively through the I AM STAR dedicated area on starhotels.com. The points accumulated can be used by the member only and not by others. Points are not accumulated on stays booked through other channels (email, phone, or other websites other than starhotels.com) or on award nights.
Points are credited to the member after each successful stay (check-out). Points given cannot be negotiated by I AM STAR members and they cannot be converted into cash.
Points can be used exclusively by the member and cannot be given to other persons.
The accumulated points will be shown on the member’s personal I AM STAR account on the website starhotels.com.
The points of I AM STAR program cannot be accumulated and/or converted with other points and/or miles on fidelity cards of any Starhotels’ partners and I Prefer.
The I AM STAR member is responsible for verifying the balance of his/her account. Starhotels Spa reserves the right to cancel/ignore points incorrectly credited and provide the necessary information to the member when doing so. The program allows the members to earn points from May 6, 2015 until December 31st 2018, unless the program is extended.
Points earned and not redeemed within December 31st 2018 will be considered lost and will be deleted from the member’s personal account.

REWARD NIGHTS

A reward stay refers to 1 night in double room (1 or 2 persons), breakfast and VAT included, city tax - where present - excluded. When booking a reward stay, at least 7 days before the stay, the member must use the currently available points on his/her I AM STAR account. The reward stay can be used by members until the December 31st 2018. The points accumulated and not used before the December 31st 2018 will be deleted from the member’s personal account. Points will not be earned on reward stays. Starhotels reserves a limited amount of rooms per day pertaining to reward stays for hotels in Italy, Paris and London. Fair periods, special events and periods of high occupancy are excluded.
Points used for reward stays will not be reaccredited in any case to the member’s I AM STAR account.
Reward nights cannot be exchanged or sold and cannot be given to other persons.

REQUEST A REWARD NIGHTS

An I AM STAR member can access to the dedicated section on www.starhotels.com to:
- verify the points balance credited on his/her account
- request a reward stay
The requests for reward stays with higher value than the actual amount of points on the I AM STAR account will not be considered. The reservation and the stay must occur during the period of validity specified.
Starhotels reserves the right to modify, even partially and at any time, the terms and conditions of the present rules, as well as the benefits offered.
