Green Globe
The
Starhotels E.c.ho. has initiated procedures to obtain Green Globe
certification and membership.
Some 337 conformity indicators applied to 41 sustainability
criteria: those are the numbers needed to obtain Green Globe
Certification.
The Green Globe certification process assesses the sustainability
of travel and tourism enterprises and therefore covers hotels as
well.
The standard required is very high and is reviewed and updated
twice a year. Green Globe membership rewards quality, to the
advantage of clients, and offers competitive edge, but above all it
contributes to sustainable development, so it's valuable to
everyone.
