European Hotel Design Awards
Starhotels E.c.ho. has been awarded the European Hotel
Design Awards for the best sustainable design.
Recognition of excellence that affirms E.c.ho., finalist for the
best sustainable design category as well as for the best project in
hotel innovation, winner of this prestigious award. Starhotels
E.c.ho. obtained the majority of votes, becoming the hotel known
for its emphasis for ecological design and service, not only having
the ability to offer sustainable solutions but also all-round
"green" hospitality. Aspects such as low energy consumption,
materials used at Km0 and the ability to make sustainability a
significant part of guests' experience, have distinct Starhotels
E.c.ho. from the rest.
The award ceremony took place in London on Tuesday, November 20th
in front of a prestigious audience of 900 spectators and
broadcasted on BBC channel.
