Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore

City Historical Museum

The Rock of Bergamo
The modern structure of the Rock was built between 1331 and 1336 and finished by Azzone Visconti..When the Austrians arrived in Lombardy, the Rock became headquarters to the troops that would control the territory.
